Removing Interference
“The universe is an example of love. Like a tree. Like the ocean. Like my body.”
- Ram Dass
CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT
As a chiropractor, my goal is to identify and remove subluxations in the spine and extremities. A subluxation (less than dislocation) is a misalignment in the body, which creates a less than optimal environment for the nervous system to function properly, like an open circuit. Every function in the body is governed by the nervous system. The chiropractic philosophy states that the body is a self-healing system when free of interference. Chiropractic adjustments remove interference within the nervous system, allowing the body to heal naturally. Every individual on Earth can benefit from chiropractic, with techniques adapted to each patient’s needs.
CUPPING
Cupping is an ancient Chinese practice which uses negative pressure to calm hyperactive muscles, release trigger points, break up myofascial scarring, reduce edema (inflammatory fluid), increase circulation, and most importantly, cupping helps patients hold adjustments.
Chiropractic Philosophy:
A Universal Intelligence is in all matter and continually gives to it all its properties and actions, thus maintaining it in existence. The amount of intelligence for any given amount of matter is 100%, and is always proportional to its requirements. The forces of Innate Intelligence operate through or over the nerve system in animal bodies.
Translation: The power that created everything (God? Goddess? Mother Nature? The Big Bang? That's up to you!) created you. Matter cannot be created or destroyed, so what differentiates you from the chair you sit on is life. Life is guided and expressed in the human body through the nervous system, which is meant to operate at 100%. If this power is not fully expressed within you, this leads to dysfunction, pain, and disease.
